Lost key questions
Can you really make a key with no original?
Yes, for most vehicles. We decode the lock or use the vehicle's records to cut the key, then program it directly to the car's immobilizer. Call with the year, make and model and we'll confirm before coming out.
What happens to my lost keys?
We erase them from the car's memory during programming, so they can no longer start the vehicle even if someone finds them.
Do I need to tow it to you?
No. We do mobile service around Northglenn and north to Longmont and Fort Lupton. If you'd rather skip the trip fee, you can tow it to our shop.
How long does it take?
Most all-keys-lost jobs are done the same visit. Some European and luxury vehicles take longer, and we'll tell you up front.
